PAN Together

Pan Together is based in Downside Community Centre in the heart of Pan in East Newport. This is the Islands most disadvantaged area, and is home to many who are amongst the most vulnerable in society.

With a grant from the National Emergencies Trust of £4,200, Pan Together was able to help those self-isolating and shielding, by providing a tasty hot meal every day, carrying out essential food shopping and collecting prescriptions, to ensure residents could stay safe at home.

We may have had to close our community centre for the time being, but thanks to this grant from NET, we can continue to run our much-needed lifeline support services to help local people within Pan, Pan Meadows and Barton, many of whom are older and live alone, and are frightened, lonely and confused by the impact of this crisis.
